The largest photovoltaic power station in the rural areas of Djibouti was inaugurated, and the Douda wastewater purification station was completed
According to the website of Jitong News Agency on June 16th, on that day, the largest photovoltaic power station in the rural areas of Djibouti was officially inaugurated. The project is located in the Omar Jaggaa village in the Jartta region and is funded by Egypt. It has an installed capacity of 300 kilowatts and is expected to be completed in 8 months. Once completed, it will solve the power supply problem for the 300 households in this area that were previously without electricity.
The second phase of the Douda wastewater purification station project, funded by the European Union and the French Development Agency, has been officially completed. The designed wastewater treatment capacity can meet the needs of 40,000 people. The project includes the purification station, the laying of new drainage pipelines, and the cleaning of old drainage pipelines. It is part of the "Drainage Pipeline Expansion and Renovation Project of Djibouti City".
